How It Works
Understanding Aggregate Scores
Most Nigerian universities calculate admission scores using a combination of JAMB, Post-UTME, and O'Level results. The aggregate score determines your eligibility for admission.
Each university has its own formula, but the general approach is to assign percentage weights to each component.
O'Level Grading System
Nigerian universities typically use this point system for O'Level grades:
| Grade | Points |
|---|---|
| A1 | 6 points |
| B2 | 5 points |
| B3 | 4 points |
| C4 | 3 points |
| C5 | 2 points |
| C6 | 1 point |
| Other | 0 points |
Common University Formulas
With Post-UTME: JAMB (50%), Post-UTME (30%), O'Level (20%)
Without Post-UTME: JAMB (70%), O'Level (30%)
Some universities may use different weights, so always verify with the specific institution.
